Avoid reading during travel and try to focus on what is straight ahead of you.
Stay in areas of the least motion, if possible, control or drive the moving vehicle.
Avoid consumption of greasy or acidic foods. Avoid food with high fat content. Consuming bread, crackers, or milk can help to resolve nausea.
Also avoid strong odors or fragrances.
